Community Planning is a statutory process that involves the Council working with local partners and local people to provide services that better meet the needs off South Lanarkshire's communities.

Stronger Together is the name given to South Lanarkshire's Community Plan. This is the joint vision developed by the South Lanarkshire Community Planning Partnership. It sets the context within which partners are working and policies are shaped, delivered and improved.

The Council has been given the leadership role in community planning but the process is managed here through the South Lanarkshire Community Planning Partnership - the group set up to give strategic direction to the plan.

The vision aims to build:

• Successful and Inclusive Communities
• Safe and Healthy Communities
• Working and Learning Communities
